Healing is not a journey done alone.
Through group therapy, clients who share similar experiences or concerns can come together and interact and provide insight. Sometimes, we benefit from a group setting that grants us the opportunity to learn and help one another.
Group therapy provides a new support network that will keep you accountable as you work toward your goals and realize that you are not alone.
Working in a group will help improve your communication and emotional intelligence.
We can gain a better perspective on our problems by interacting with others in the group.
Here’s how group therapy works.
As a member of the group, you have a place to come and sit with others who are on the same journey. Some individuals may be beginning their journey, whereas others may be farther along on their journey.
Anything that goes on stays in the group, ensuring complete confidentiality.
I will be part of the group, and together, we will explore underlying issues instead of fixing the symptoms. We aim for each group member to find a pathway to understanding their motives and behavior.
We want to build a trusted community with others who will understand and support you as you develop healthy ways to cope with emotions and triggers and stop acting out. The process involves being challenged and encouraged and pushed and supported.
Experience the benefits of group therapy.
Group therapy offers a great alternative to individual therapy. Learning from others helps with the process of overcoming specific problems.
You may start as strangers, but trust and positive relationships are established by openly sharing.
We limit group size. Therefore, please contact us if you are interested in joining our Men’s Unwanted Sexual Behavior group.
